Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso - Io Sono Nato Libero 1973 (2009 Japan Blue-spec CD)

Banco del Mutuo Soccorso's third LP, Io Sono Nato Libero, was released only a few months after the impressive Darwin!, and featured the same lineup (brothers Vittorio and Gianni Nocenzi on keyboards, Rodolfo Maltese on guitar, Pierluigi Calderoni on drums, Renato d'Angelo on bass, and Francesco Di Giacomo on vocals). It yielded one classic track, "Non Mi Rompete," a beautiful Italian ballad that would be part of the band's set list for the rest of its life. Another important track is "Traccia II," which develops the musical idea found at the end of the 1971 LP Banco del Mutuo Soccorso. Music history may have preserved these two pieces, but the real point of interest on Io Sono Nato Libero is the 15-minute opus "Canto Nomade per un Prigioniero Politico," a complex and very moving piece (the title translates to "Nomad Song for a Political Prisoner"). Di Giacomo feels so involved in the lyrics that his voice is always on the verge of breaking up. The song contains a strange section of percussion overdubs in the middle, which sadly alters its cohesion, but otherwise it remains one of the group's strong compositions from its early days. This album was eclipsed by the cult status Darwin! achieved, but it should not be overlooked. It possesses all the elements that made Banco del Mutuo Soccorso such a unique band, embodying everything Italian progressive rock could be. allmusic.com

Indeed, one of the largest global groups symphonic rock...with no weak moments, brilliant from start to finish. The first of three superb CDs Del Mutuo Soccorso Baco known as BANCO GREAT TRILOGY. I love Italian the seventies rock - there are a few CDs which are compulsory this album is the one of them...Bakery, Museum, Bank - something the Italian prog-men fond of public services on signboards for their business.

The third album of the Great Trilogy group Banco Dell Mutuo Soccorso. The album was released seven months after Darwin and is a continuation of the style that created a group on the first two albums. Already the first track, Canto Nomade Per Un Prigioniero Politico (15:46) leaves no doubt,is the focal point of the album is a true classic of the Italian epos - Banco still in great form with lots of ideas, incredible virtuosity and passion for the game. To this day, is a mystery how they did it - three absolutely brilliant albums, included the leading global prog recorded in two years! Unbelievable! ... But Again in the lead role very well klawiszowcy - brothers Vittorio and Gianni Nocenzi - wpędzający complexes multitudes of musicians from all over Europe. But something changed in the sound of the band. The year was 1973, came the era of synthesizers, and most teams in the world switched to the new instruments - even more convenient for transport (anyone who has seen Hammond knows what I mean - two such keybords and a half tira busy ...) and give incomparably more powerful sound . Banco fortunately not gone mad to the end and only enriched their instruments for three synthesizers, leaving Hammondy main instruments and piano. And the music? Almost no change - brilliant! Five tracks, 41 minutes music. Again, GREAT MUSIC. Writing about that brilliant, sensationally played, arranged, etc. - it is written in the first two discs - this is a continuation in a straight line, complemented by sound synthesizers. This is progressive rock of the absolute peak, the upper shelf, etc. I could even by half a page to show off eloquence, but for what? Is it not better just listen? For all lovers in the old threshold - it is almost the Bible, I can not imagine any serious CD collection without the entire trilogy, or a serious fan. Among the guest musicians to mention, Silvana Aliotta, singer Circus 2000 and Rodolfo Maltese, who would later become part of the group.

I recomended,This is riding mandatory.!!!!!!!
